Venues
Here at Cox's Yard we have a number of unique venues for every imaginable use. On the ground floor is the Family Pub, with 2 x HD screens showing news and Sports events. It also has a ten speaker surround sound system which we use for our monthly Acoustic Yard sessions which are free to enter.
Above that is our much lauded little Music Venue. Capacity is 220 people standing up and the atmosphere is just like those little venues of your youth - although we often host big names like Hugh Cornwell , The Beat, Big Country , The Enemy and Adrian Edmondson!
In the old wood shed next to Tramway Walk are Studios B & C and the Attic Theatre. The studios are multifunctional - they can host anything from a job interview to a party, via a jacket sale or foreign language teaching. The Attic Theatre is a fully equipped 95 seater studio theatre which hosts top touring shows and is available to hire.
Our outdoor spaces are venues too and in the summer we host al fresco jazz, blues, easy listening and local artists display and sell their wares at the weekend
